28% of Sonoma County children and youth experiencing homelessness identify as LGBTQIA+. That's almost 3X as many LGBTQIA+ children and youth in the entire county (10%)
Nationwide, LGBTQIA+ youth are 2.2x more likely to experience homelessness than non-LGBTQIA+ youth.
LGBTQIA+ seniors in the Bay Area are particularly vulnerable to losing their housing or accessing aging-related needs in systems not prepared to competently and sensitively meet their needs.
Housing is a human right!
Queer youth need homes! Queer elders need homes! Queer people need homes. Take action with us.
