Field Canvasser

Open until filled

NBOP is seeking deep democracy canvassers to engage community members through door-to-door knocking as part of an integrated voter engagement strategy. Canvassers will be engaging with the community on issues such as education, immigration, and housing. The position requires a six-month commitment at three shifts a week, four hours each shift, totaling 12 hours a week.

Communications & Cultural Strategist

The Communications and Cultural Strategist is the narrative pathfinder
and weaver at NBOP. Their work spans the entirety of NBOP’s organizing, initiatives, and platforms. They co-develop internal and external communications processes and systems to ensure clear, emergent, and visionary communication sets the tone, look, and feel of the organization, and builds a cross-sector and multi-issue coalition. They develop core teams to train leaders and advance storytelling as foundational seeds that build power and exercise collective liberation.

Operations and Fund Development Manager

Open until filled

The Operations and Fund Development Manager is a critical member of a community of disciplined organizers. They are the steward of policies that ensure staff safety and security are prioritized. The Operations and Fund Development Manager also takes responsibility for advancing the acquisition of resources necessary for staff and leaders to build power. This position works very closely with the Executive Director and the
Director of Finance and Technology to lead the responsible stewardship of the organization as a vehicle for change and as an organization rooted in feminist and anticapitalist work.
